I have noticed while reading many posts that people are discarding the yokes of their eggs. I thought some of you might be interested in this article!

As for my day…as it’s Saturday we take Kim for a 2 1/2 hr walk on the Downs so no run this morning. I have to admit I missed it ,but Kim didn’t. He was much happier having a game of ball!



  1. I’ve never understood that whole obsession thing with only eating egg whites. It must be horrible. Great read. Happy weekend!

  2. I love boiled egg in salad for lunch or frittata and salad for brunch. I love to eat the whole egg!

  3. I only eat like one egg yolk and about 3 egg whites. A whole egg is just more calories and I get plenty of protein with egg whites. I get plenty of healthy fats from others sources so I don’t really need it. It’s just a personal choice. Although there are days I just love my egg salad sandwich! And don’t get me started with Deviled Eggs, oh yum!
